Introducing Sonja

I have both a bachelor degree and a graduate deiploma in Urban and Regional Planning.  I have over 15 years experience in development assessment in both the public sector and private town planning practice.  Within the public sector I worked in a technical advice capacity and developed a proven track record of high level communication and customer satisfaction in interpreting and advising on various forms of planning legislation including current and superseded planning schemes.  During my time as an assessment manager I specialised in Material Change of Use (complex) impact assessable development applications.  I assessed a large variety of applications during this time.  Excellent time management and a diligent approach meant that I gained valuable skills and knowledge in development assessment in a major local government area within south east Queensland.  I have spent over 6 years working in private practice specialising in various sized subdivisions.  While in private practice I also prepared, lodged and managed Material Change of Use applications.  My time spent in private practice has allowed me to understand client needs within the development industry.

I am a firm believer that technical knowledge, communication and customer service gets the job done.
